Surya Yantra

The Surya Yantra is believed to harness the energy of the Sun and is used to mitigate the adverse effects of the Sun in a person's astrological chart. In Vedic astrology, the Sun is considered a powerful planet and is associated with qualities such as vitality, authority, confidence, leadership, and self-expression. However, when the Sun is afflicted or poorly placed in a person's birth chart, it can lead to challenges such as ego issues, health problems, and obstacles in career or personal life. 

Concentrating on the Yantra during meditation is believed to align the practitioner with the energies associated with the Sun and promote qualities such as vitality, confidence, and self-expression. Some people may perform rituals and offer prayers to the Surya Yantra, seeking blessings for health, success, and prosperity, as well as for the removal of obstacles in their lives.

The Yantra may be placed in a prominent location in the home or workplace, ideally facing the east or northeast direction, to enhance its beneficial effects and create a positive atmosphere. In Vedic astrology, astrologers may recommend the use of Yantras, including the Surya Yantra, as remedial measures to counteract the negative effects of malefic planetary placements in a person's birth chart, particularly those involving the Sun.
